Cubicle Curtain Installation in Oakland, California
Free on-site measurement, no obligation
We reply the same business day.
Emergency? Mark it urgent and we move it to the front of the same-day queue.
Why hire us?
Measured room by room
Ceiling height, track drop and sprinkler positions are measured per room, so the mesh height is right in every one of them.
California fire code
We work to Title 19 and OSFM registration, not just an out-of-state NFPA 701 certificate.
Around your hours
Evening, weekend and phased installations are routine. You do not lose a department for a day.
Kept compliant after
A second set supplied and labelled by room, so a curtain can come down for washing without leaving the bay bare.

For estates and procurement teams
Multi-site orders, phased fit-outs and scheduled replacement cycles are quoted as one programme rather than site by site. We work to your specification and supply the fire-performance documentation your file needs.

Technical Challenges in Oakland, California
Six corner runs on one floor, and every one measured rather than assumed. That is the part of an Oakland job that decides the timeline — not the straight walls, the corners and the ceilings above them.
We supply and fit cubicle curtains and the track they hang from, across acute wards, outpatient suites, dialysis floors and dental practices. Measured on site before anything is cut.
What an Oakland ceiling actually gives you
The healthcare estate here spans about sixty years of construction, and the ceiling is where that shows. A ward block from the 1960s tends to give you a suspended grid at eight feet with a concrete slab somewhere above it — fixable, but only once you know how far above. A new-build outpatient suite is the opposite problem: high, open, services left exposed on purpose, and nothing overhead to fix to without dropping threaded rod.
Retrofits sit between the two. Seismic bracing added to an older California building runs where it needs to run, not where a curtain track would like to. We survey for it rather than discovering it on the day.
Track, and the corners
A straight run is quick. Curved corner track is not, and a floor plan with six of them is a different job from one with none — which is why the survey happens before the quote, and why we ask for the room count rather than the square footage.
Ceiling-mounted where there is a slab. Suspended where there is not. Track installation and repair covers the runs already in place that need re-hanging rather than replacing.
Fabric, mesh and the sprinkler line
Mesh-top panels are standard in any space with sprinkler coverage, and the mesh height is set from the head of the curtain, not from the floor. Get that wrong and the curtain is a fire-code problem rather than a privacy one. All our cubicle fabric meets NFPA 701; antimicrobial finishes are available where infection control asks for them.
Grommet or snap header depends on what the existing carriers are, which is another reason the survey comes first.
The facilities we fit in Oakland
Dialysis floors — open stations, high change-out frequency, and no realistic way to close the unit. Work goes in around the treatment schedule. See scheduled laundering and rotation for the change-out side.
Ambulatory surgery — recovery bays are where the suspended track usually ends up, because the ceiling above them is rarely solid.
Dental practices — small rooms, more corner runs per square foot than anywhere else, and the shortest tolerance for disruption.
How the visit works
We measure every run on site — track lengths, ceiling heights, drops and mesh heights, recorded room by room — and quote from numbers we took ourselves. Nothing is cut before that. Installation is scheduled around your operating hours, including evenings where a unit cannot be closed.
Alameda County's environmental health division publishes the local requirements for healthcare facilities at deh.acgov.org, and the fire-performance standard the fabric is tested to is described at NFPA 701.
Not sure what you have up there?
We will come and look before you commit to anything
Most of the questions we get from Oakland facilities are about the ceiling, not the curtain — whether there is a slab to fix to, how the sprinkler clearance works out, whether the track already in place can be reused.
Those are survey questions, and guessing at them by email wastes your time and ours. Tell us the rooms and we will arrange a visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Send us the room count and what is hanging now — a photograph of a typical bay from the doorway tells us more than any form. We will come out, measure every run, and quote from our own numbers.
