Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Privacy Curtain Co supplies, measures and installs privacy curtains and track systems for healthcare and commercial facilities in California. This policy explains what we collect through privacycurtainco.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it.

We are a supplier and installer working directly with you. We are not a marketplace, and we do not pass your enquiry to third-party contractors.

1. What We Collect

Everything below is information you type in yourself. We do not buy contact details, and there is nothing on this site that collects personal information in the background.

  • When you request a quote: your name, email address, phone number, the facility and city, how many rooms or beds are involved, what you need, and whatever you tell us about the project.
  • When you use the contact form: your name and phone number, your email address if you choose to give one (that field is optional), the topic you picked, and your message.
  • When you sign up for updates: your email address.
  • When you leave a review: your name, your email address, and what you wrote.
  • When you use the chat window: whatever you type into it.
  • When you are given a Client Portal login: an account is created against your email address so you can see your own quote and documents. You cannot register for an account on your own; one is only created for a customer we are already quoting.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • Payment details. This website does not take payments. We never see or store your card number here.
  • Patient or health information. We quote on rooms, tracks and fabric, and we have no reason to know anything about the people treated in them. Please do not send us patient details.

3. Why We Use It

  • To price your job, answer your question, and arrange measuring, delivery and installation.
  • To send you messages about your own request, such as a quote or a confirmed appointment.
  • To keep records of work we have quoted and carried out.
  • To send you updates, if you asked for them. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link.
  • To comply with the law, and to respond to lawful requests.

4. Who Else Sees It

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not disclose it to anyone for money or for anything else of value.

Your information reaches these services because they are part of how the site works:

  • Telegram. Enquiries from this site are delivered to our team through a private Telegram channel, so what you send in a form passes through Telegram's servers on the way to us.
  • Crisp. The chat window at the corner of the page is run by Crisp, which processes the conversation on our behalf.
  • Our hosting and site infrastructure, which stores the website and its database and serves the pages you are reading.
  • Analytics. Where analytics is switched on, we load it through Google Tag Manager to see which pages people find useful. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is never loaded for signed-in staff.

Beyond that, we disclose information only with your agreement, or where the law requires it.

5. Cookies

  • Signing in. If you use the Client Portal, WordPress sets the cookies that keep you signed in.
  • Your quote. If you open a quote from a link we sent you, one cookie remembers that quote for a month, so you keep access to it and so it can be attached to your account if you are given one later.
  • Analytics, where it is switched on, as described above.

There is no advertising cookie on this site.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations, and no longer. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as set out below.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the records we are required to keep.
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing here to opt out of.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse you service, change your price, or give you a lesser service because you asked.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to ask you something that confirms you are the person the information belongs to, and we will not use what you send us for anything except answering the request. You may use an authorised agent to make a request for you.

8. Children

This site is for facility managers and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page, and the date at the top of it will change with it.

10. Contact Us

If you have a question about this policy, or about anything we hold about you, email us at [email protected]. A person reads that address, and we will answer.
